So this morning we went down to the Mairie to register the fact that we are now permanent residents in Missé
For a small village the Mairie as you can see is quite a modern building. The glass frontage is the main entrance and there are offices inside for the Mayor and her office staff as well as a meeting room.
There is also a village hall, tennis courts, a football pitch.
The village also runs the adjacent school, a small library and maintenance staff that deal with drainage, roads etc. And with a population of only approximately 850 +2 this morning! I think they do very well.
