Following on from finishing the downstairs loo, I’ve managed to build myself an L shaped work bench in the corner between the existing bench that was there when we bought the house and the downstairs loo.

Well the major works are finished and the loo is now all working. Still to do is some tiling and decoration which will happen sometime next week. This weekend we will be having a big clean up around the house now all the dust has settled!

Well the work has carried on this week. Plaster boarding is now complete and all the electrics are in. The next stage is the taping and filling of the joints. Work has been taking place this week to build our additional loo down in the basement. We discovered last year that there is a mains drainage connection there, so adding a loo in a corner of the basement we thought should prove to be fairly straight forward.
