So Thursday 26 May was one year since we arrived. Time flies fast when you are having fun as they say…. But compared to a year ago we are currently having weather that is a lot warmer and drier compared to this time last year. Our heating hasn’t come on at all for over 6 . . . → Read More: One year… So after quite a long build and installation the pool is now finished. It took over 24 hours to fill it, I estimate there are 37000 litres of water in the pool! It started off at about 17 degrees, but gradually day by day it has been rising to a comfortable 27 degrees. The cover . . . → Read More: Swimming Pool is finished and we are swimming! The pool has now had the bottom surface screeded to a smooth finish and the ‘margelles’ (capping stones) put in place. You will also notice that the steps have been built as well.
